We are glad you joined us for the Second Quarter 2020 ATTRIBUTES OF GOD edition of the Seeds Family Box! This month’s resources and activities are centered on an exciting book called TheAttributes Of God For Kids. As parents, grandparents, and ministry leaders we want to help our kids walk into a living relationship with God. This book will help you kids learn more about who God is and deepen their relationship with Him.
The author Lydia White shared the heart behind it: “Our kids don’t just need to know about God, they need to meet Him. That starts with teaching our children the attributes of God. When they meet God, they’ll know who it is they’re trusting, they’ll know what is right and wrong, and they’ll know who God has made them to be.”

THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD FOR KIDS BOOK
We all want our kids to love God and that starts with simply getting to know Him. The Attributes of God for Kids is a daily devotional for your family to read together.
The book is divided into 10 unique attributes(unchanging, omnipresent, sovereign, etc.) and11 moral attributes (righteous, just, loving, etc.).Each chapter focuses on a single attribute with age appropriate readings, fun questions, memory tools, and praise songs from Seeds Family Worship to help your kids understand and remember each attribute.
This book is based on A.W.Tozer’s classic Christianbook, The Knowledge of the Holy, and will help you lay a solid theological foundation about who God is for your children.

New for 2020, The Character of God DVD! This has been a journey to create scripture songs videos for everySeeds song and this year we accomplished that when we finished The Character of God DVD. Seeds now has 167scripture songs videos and 86 hand motion videos!
The Character of God DVD will help your family learn more about God’s character through the Word of God. Our God is Creator, Holy, Love, Light, Faithful, and more! ThisDVD has one of the most popular Seeds songs ever, ‘WeTrust”! This song reminds us of where we put our trust in life- our faithful God.
Kids love doing the hand motions with WorshipGirl, that is why 8 of the11 videos also come with hand motion videos! We hope you all enjoy these videos that they help you memorize God’s Word and love Him more.
THE CHARACTER OF GOD CD & DIGITAL DOWNLOAD CARD
The Character Of God CD contains Word-for-WordScripture songs about the awesomeness of God. this CD begins at the beginning…in the book of Genesis, where we learn that God is the creator who made the heavens and the earth. We also hear about Isaiah’svision of God on His throne from the book of Isaiah where angels were praising God singing “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts”
The songs continue to celebrate His attributes: He is love, He Is Light, He is Wise, Faithful, and Unchanging. We can see Him in His amazing creation and in the lives of His people. He is worthy of our praise and families are meant to worship Him together!

The 21 Days of Praying the Attributes Of God calendar is a tool to help you pray and worship God for who He is. This prayer calendar will give you the opportunity to focus your prayers on God and praise him together as a family.
Most of us struggle to center our prayers on the Lord rather than ourselves and our current needs, and we have found one of the best ways to work through that is to pray God’s Word. We hope this calendar will be a helpful blessing to you.

We love these tools that were created for The attributes of God book! We included these 21 memory cards for you to use as a family.
We encourage you to use the cards to help each other store God’s Word in your hearts. They can be shared mealtimes, as part of family worship in your home, or on the road as you roll through the day’s activities.

It is encouraging and fun for us to chart our progress as we learn new things! We like the way this sticker chart helps track the journey of learning the attributes of God and memorizing the Word.
We have provided everything you need here in your seeds Family Box to make this process easy and enjoyable. As you read about each attribute or memorize the verse associated with each attribute, have your child place a sticker on either the matching or blank circle to track his or her progress!
