Worship Girl Is Moving To Africa!

Worship Girl’s Story

Hey Seeds Families! My name is Kylie, or a lot of you may know me as “Worship Girl”. I am married to my loving husband, Matthew, and we have a six-month-old daughter, Autumn. It has been such a privilege to have been a part of the Seeds ministry for the past eight years. It has been so much fun doing hand motions, going on tour, and being able to worship with all of you. I never knew how much the hand motion videos would impact so many kids and families around the world. We want to share with you a little bit about where the Lord is leading our family in this next season.

Our Next Steps

We are going to be serving as full-time missionaries in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa with a ministry called Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). I’ve had a huge heart for missions since I was thirteen, and I thought I was going to be a missionary in the States. But after high school, I did a Discipleship Training School with  Youth With A Mission (YWAM). During that time, the Lord put overseas missions on my heart. When I heard that there are people out there who have never heard the gospel, it broke my heart, and a new passion and desire was put in my heart to GO. After my time with YWAM, I met Matthew and learned about his passion for missions and to serve with MAF.

Since 1945, MAF has used aviation and technology to share the love of Jesus Christ with isolated people in some of the most remote places around the world. For seventy-six years, we’ve brought help, hope, and healing to those people, giving them an opportunity to experience both physical and spiritual transformation when they have a life-changing experience with God. We are so blessed and honored to be a part of this organization, being able to follow God where he’s led our family, giving our lives to Him in full surrender, and being a part of the great commission with MAF.

Partner With Us!

As the Lord has been preparing us to serve with Mission Aviation Fellowship, we also believe God is preparing individuals to also partner with us in our ministry. We are looking for individuals, who through God’s leading, will pray for us regularly and give financially. The easiest way to do that is to click the link below and it will take you to the MAF website and that’s where you can learn more about MAF, sign up for our prayer letter, or give to us financially if that’s where the Lord is leading you (go here to give).

Meet With Worship Girl!

We would love to meet with you! Click here to sign up for a Zoom call with us. We’d love to meet your kids and family and share with you more about what we’re doing (schedule a call here). we look forward to connecting with you soon.

Thanks for your time with Seeds!!

    Hi Kylie,
Welcome to Africa! We’re really excited to hear that you’re moving with your family to DRC. We also serve in Africa, based in Bangui, Central African Republic with Wycliffe and SIL. We know that MAF flies in the region and serves the eastern half of war-torn CAR and we’re so encouraged by their service. We love the SEEDS videos (kids 6 and 9) and watched a ton of hours during lockdowns in CAR and elsewhere over the past 18 months. We still break out in family song when someone mentions a few words of a verse. It’s great! I know all that Scripture in your heart will serve you well as you face new challenges and opportunities ahead. And maybe we’ll run into you someday in central Africa!
    Many blessings,
    Elizabeth

So cool! DRC is close to my heart. I lived in Kinshasa for a year back in 2013-2014 and met the (former?) MAF missionaries there through the International Protestant Church of Kinshasa, or IPCK, which is English-speaking. Will you be based in Kinshasa? I still have friends there, and a good friend of mine is a missionary there with AGWM working with schools (both children and adults in seminary) as well if you’d like to be put in touch! May God richly bless you in your service to him and the Congolese people!!

    Matt and Kylie,

How awesome to see what God is doing with your family. We are also missionaries in Africa and spent time in language school with friends who serve with MAF in DRC. We have used SFW through right now media and now own many downloaded videos that we use as a team each week in family worship. The kids have learned so many verses because of SFW. Thank you so much for your families ministry and willingness to serve internationally. Our kids will be so excited about this and we will stop and pray for you today.

Kylie Lynch

When Kylie was 13 years old she gave her heart to the Lord and soon felt a call to full time missions. She knew she did not have to wait until later to be a missionary and spent her teen years focused on building her relationship with God and reaching out to others.

Kylie has been a Seeds Family Worship Missionary- creating hand motions, making videos and traveling with our team for live events for the last 7 years. This has been a BIG passion of her life as she loves being able to lead kids and families in worship!

Today, Kylie is newly married and living in Washington state where her and husband Matthew are in training to become full time missionary overseas.
